GridX Announces the Addition of Energy Industry Experts to its Fast Growing Team
New hires bring decades of experience working with utilities and a deep understanding of complex rates and programs.
WALNUT CREEK, CA, August 14, 2024 – GridX, the leading enterprise rate platform provider to utilities, today announced the addition of three energy industry veterans that bring with them decades of experience helping utilities modernize their operations. The new hires include Michael Wimert as Vice President of Strategic Accounts and Alliance, Dave Siravo as Vice President of Sales for the US South region and Michael Pirro as Senior Director of Rate Design. Each will play a fundamental role in accelerating the adoption of GridX’s industry-leading Enterprise Rate Platform.

Michael Wimert, Vice President of Strategic Accounts and Alliance
Wimert has 30 years of experience in the IT/Consulting Energy industry, with the past nine years playing a variety of roles at Guidehouse, a leading global provider of consulting services to the public sector and commercial markets, including as the Decarbonization Sales Leader and Key Account Sales Leader. He has also spent twenty years internationally with Oracle, KPMG and as the CEO of Elucid, a leading Customer Information System (CIS) provider in South America.
David Siravo, Vice President of Sales for the US South
Siravo has 15 years of experience in the IT, finance, and energy sectors. He spent eight years at SAP, collaborating with utilities nationwide to tackle current and future challenges in delivering optimal customer experiences. Siravo possesses a deep understanding of technologies that support utility billing and engagement, having successfully sold and optimized multiple CIS implementations. His professional journey also includes significant tenures at Accenture and Vanguard, further enriching his industry insights and capabilities.
Michael Pirro, Senior Director of Rate Design
Pirro brings over thirty years of experience in the utility industry, having served in various leadership roles at Duke Energy, PG&E, Florida Power & Light and National Grid. His expertise lies in rates and regulatory matters, where he has acted as a company expert witness supporting rate design and tariff administration. Recently, he played a crucial role in rate design, supporting regulatory work, rate case management, integrated resource planning, and financial planning during nearly 8 years at Duke Energy.
